Kotana Communications has launched a Kenwood Nexedge Digital Trunked Wide Area Radio Network capable of voice and data including GPS reporting.
As of April 2014, the Williston, Dickinson, Keene, Killdeer, Writing Rock and Sentinel Butte sites are up and operating, with another site (Beulah) scheduled for future deployment.
